What we collect

Nothing. Deen Dawn has no user accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not have a server that stores information about you, because there is nothing to store.

Where your information lives

Everything you create in the app — your city, prayer settings, bookmarks, last-read position, tasbih history, and preferences — is saved only on your device. It never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Location

If you allow location access, it is used only on your device to point the qibla compass and calculate prayer times for where you are. Your location is never transmitted, stored, or shared. You can also enter your city manually and never grant location access at all — everything still works.

The internet

Prayer times, the Quran text, translation, qibla, tasbih, calendar, and the zakat calculator all work fully offline. The only time the app uses the internet is when you choose to play recitation audio, which is streamed from our own storage. Those requests carry no identifiers about you — just a plain request for the audio file you asked to hear.

Money

Deen Dawn is free forever, and every feature is free — nothing is ever locked behind a payment. The app contains no purchases, no subscriptions, no donation buttons, and no payment technology of any kind. It will never ask you for money.

Children

Deen Dawn collects no data from anyone, including children. It is safe for all ages.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect meaningful changes.
